Multimedia Skills

From print, digital, to moving media, I'm passionate about all things design related. I enjoy taking a client's concept and creating a visual/interactive representation of what they were envisioning, making improvements and enhancements along the way.

I'm an avid user of Photoshop, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Atom, After Effects, Premiere, InDesign, and other Creative Cloud products to provide design, photography and web development services.

I keep up with current design trends by reading sources like A List Apart, Smashing Magazine, UX Magazine, among others. I'm always looking for new ways to improve efficiency, speed up my workflow, and keep my skills fresh.

Web Development

Using HTML5/CSS3, responsive design, Sass/SCSS, LESS, jQuery, JavaScript, Assemble, Handlebars, AngularJS and frameworks like Bootstrap, Bourbon Neat and more to help build modern/semantically coded websites and applications.

UI/UX Design

I'm familiar with creating use cases, mood boards, wireframes, style tiles and more. For wireframes, I like using Axure, Adobe XD, Fireworks or plain 'ol pen and paper. I enjoy turning business requirements into the skeletal structure that aids in the conversation that flushes out functionality and forms the foundation for building a website.

Graphic Design

Photoshop and Illustrator are my primary tools for visual design. I'm able to manipulate images, create brands and custom graphics with advanced knowledge of the available tools in these powerful Creative Cloud applications.

Photography

I currently own a Canon 6D & 7D camera with a number of lenses that work together to produce some truly great quality photos (and videos). I shoot high resolution photos in both JPG and RAW formats with a natural eye and the added ability to retouch to make images pop.

Retouching

I primarily use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to digitally enhance images. Specialties include removing blemishes, airbrushing, color correction, body reshaping, applying digital makeup, subject extraction and more to improve the quality of images or prepare subjects in the images to be a part of a custom graphic.
